In this case, it’s the fact that family cars dominate the list of least expensive cars to insure in 2010 – according to InsWeb, a leading online insurance comparison provider. To arrive at the list, InsWeb compared all car insurance quotes (covering 400 companies) requested by customers between January and September of this year for 2010 vehicles.

The results aren’t all that surprising – and it’s good for consumers looking for family cars. While the total list of least expensive vehicles to insure includes 25 vehicles (not all family cars), we’re showing the top 10 here.
